Challenges

Convert a parking lot into a 58,000 sq. ft. medical office building with ample parking, ADA-compliant access, and stormwater management that meets tough new regulations.

Solution

Worked closely with the architect to make best use of the land and create biofilter areas to filter stormwater runoff. Managed curbing, walkway, ramps and other features needed to meet ADA demands for the medical service environment. Performed surveying, planning, design and construction staking. 

Outcome

Project earned a McGraw-Hill Best of California 2008 Award
